At a talk at the International Affairs Building organized by La Maison Française of Columbia University, Jacques Rancière discussed his newest book “Aisthesis”, which just got published in France and will come to the English speaking world in early 2013. 

Rancière is concerned with the aesthetic regime of the art, and how concepts of beauty affect the distribution of power in society. The Future of the Image, along with other books was being sold at the event.
